WALTON COUNTY, Fla. - A fugitive may be facing Attempted Murder charges for trying to stab an officer during an arrest in Walton County on Tuesday morning. The sheriff's office says while members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force were serving a felony order out of Okaloosa County on Steven Alexander Jamison -- he attempted to stab a task force member multiple times.

The first incident involved a traffic stop in DeFuniak Springs, resulting in the arrest of a man for trafficking in fentanyl. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office in Florida is searching for an additional suspect following the arrest of William 'Trey' Johnson from Bay County. Johnson is linked to a series of car burglaries in Inlet Beach that occurred between November 13th and 14th. Four burglaries were reported, with one victim reporting a stolen Glock .43 gun.

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - South Walton Fire District staff said four people were hospitalized after a multi-car crash in south Walton County Saturday evening. Authorities said around 6:20 p.m., firefighters arrived on the scene of the crash at U.S. Highway 98 and Mussett Bayou Road.
