(WWJ) — Police are asking for help finding a missing woman who was last seen at a Macomb County shelter on Memorial Day weekend.

Macomb County Sheriff’s deputies were recently called to do a welfare check on 49-year-old Nacole Booth at MCREST ( Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team ).

When deputies showed up, they discovered she was no longer staying at MCREST, according to the sheriff’s office. She was last seen there on Sunday, May 26.

Officials said in a Facebook post her whereabouts are unknown and her family is concerned for her safety. She may also go by the name Lynn Booth.

The sheriff’s office describes Booth as 5-foot-5 with a slim build.

Authorities did not release any further information about her disappearance, including the address of the MCREST location she was previously staying at.

Anyone who has seen Booth or knows something about her whereabouts is asked to call Detective Jankowski at 586-307-9363.
