    Raleigh County Commission approves new code enforcement employee

    BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A new code enforcement employee was approved by members of the Raleigh County Commission on Tuesday.

    Members of the Raleigh County Commission assembled on Tuesday for a Special Session meeting at which the primary item of discussion was the election of a Raleigh County Commission President following the passing of former President Dave Tollive r earlier this month.

    Commissioner Greg Duckworth would ultimately be designated as the Raleigh County Commission President , bringing the session to the next item of discussion, consideration of a new code enforcement employee.

    David McCracken was presented for consideration in a part-time role as a code enforcement inspector.

    “He comes from a great background and has passed the necessary background check and drug test,” said County Administrator, Jay Quesenberry. “He has a lot of experience and is excited about coming on board.”

    McCracken was approved during Tuesday’s session by members of the commission for part-time employment with the county.
