ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Twin brothers at Parkway North High School both recently achieved a perfect ACT score of 36, the highest possible score on the ACT college placement exam.

Eric and Samuel Lipsutz, juniors at Parkway North, both took the test in April.

A perfect ACT score of 36 is quite an accomplishment. Less than one percent of students who take the test nationwide attain a perfect score.

The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement exam that measures students’ knowledge and
skills in English, reading, mathematics, and science, including analysis and problem-solving
skills that determine college and career readiness.

Eric’s top university choices include Washington University in St. Louis, The University of Chicago and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is interested in studying mathematics and computer science.

Samuel’s top university choice is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also wants to study something related to computer science.

ACT scores are accepted at all major four-year colleges and universities across the U.S.
