PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Pitt County Tax Administration, in partnership with PayIt, is pleased to
introduce a new digital property tax platform, myPittCounty.
The online service offers an improved, user-friendly experience for residents to manage their property taxes, without having to travel to an office, mail a check or make a phone call.
“Pitt County is pleased to offer citizens a modern experience in paying their tax bills and receiving information from Tax Administration,” says Sam Croom, Deputy County Manager/Chief Financial Officer.
Through myPittCounty, customers can pay online as a guest or create a personalized profile that
securely stores property tax information, payment history and payment methods. The new
experience also offers features including partial pay, scheduled payments and eBilling. For
customers who prefer to make payments over the phone, myPittCounty includes a new pay-byphone system that provides a more modern experience.
“We’re excited to roll out the new service for online property tax management,” said Russell Hill,
Pitt County Tax Administrator. “myPittCounty was developed with the resident experience in mind, and I am confident that customers will be pleased with how easy and convenient it is when they go to pay property taxes this year.”
Another benefit of myPittCounty is the admin portal, which allows Pitt County staff to easily view
and manage transactions. Additionally, the pay-by-phone Interactive Voice Response offering
reduces the need for staff to manually field payment phone calls, allowing them to offer enhanced support to County residents.
