    Man hospitalized after being shot in Chesterfield

    CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man has been hospitalized after officers found him with a gunshot wound in Chesterfield County Wednesday night.

    According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, just after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, its officers responded to the 2600 block of Turner Road for report of a shooting.

    When they arrived at the scene, officers found an unidentified adult man with a gunshot wound.

    He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to police.
