WNCT.com’s Best of Pets: Lannie

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — A seven-year-old mixed breed dog at the Pitt County Animal Shelter is looking for her forever home.

Lannie is a very calm dog as she is a little older than most of the dogs at the shelter. Ashley Campbell, a kennel attendant at Pitt County Animal Shelter, said Lannie enjoys her time outside with shelter staff but it doesn’t take her long to get her energy out. She enjoys lying around and relaxing.

She was brought it with an embedded collar and after removal, Lannie developed a skin infection. There is a wound on her neck so she will need to wear a harness until her wound heals.

The adoption fee is $135 which includes spay, vaccines and microchip.
