    Showers Diminish Gradually as Trough Moves East, Winds Decrease Overnight

    Tonight: Showers will gradually diminish as the trough moves east. Winds will slowly decrease as well. Overnight lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.

    Tuesday: Another round of scattered showers and mountain snow showers is expected as another trough moves in. There's a slight chance of thunderstorms mainly over northern Oregon and southern Washington. Breezy to gusty winds and Highs in the 50s and 60s.

    Wednesday: A drier NW flow will bring a low chance of mountain showers. Another upper low will approach the region Wednesday night, but the main impacts will be in the extended period. Lighter winds and slightly warmer i the low to mid and upper 60s.

    Thursday: Cool, showery conditions with a chance of thunderstorms, mainly over eastern Oregon. Light snow possible at higher elevations.

    Saturday-Monday: Significant uncertainties due to model divergences. Chances of precipitation remain, especially in mountain areas, with gusty winds likely. Snow levels will vary between 3500-5500ft.
