Construction completed for South Terminal of Dane County Airport

MADISON, Wis. -- The Dane County Regional Airport completed all construction and finished work on the 90,000 square-foot expansion of the south terminal.

Dane County Regional Airport said the south terminal has been opened since 2023 but the gates are now fully open.

The airport unveiled new compass rose terrazzo floor at the transition between the new and existing gates areas.

"We thank everyone who worked so hard to bring the south terminal expansion to life it is wonderful to see how this project has already helped make an impact on the number of nonstop flights from DCRA," County Executive Joe Parisi said.

DCRA recently added Breeze Airways as an airline partner, offering nonstop flights to Tampa and Orlando and the upcoming seasonal nonstop service to Los Angeles.
