The grant is available to Santa Fe, Taos and Rio Arriba counties. Nonprofits, local government, indigenous communities and other eligible organizations of those counties are invited to propose projects that preserve, revitalize or promote indigenous languages. Those that are picked have the opportunity to receive grants of up to $43,000. Proposals are evaluated based on feasibility, innovation, alignment with objectives and potential impact.

Application submissions are due by May 17. For more information on submitting a grant application, click here.
