Diamond Dynamos: Last week's outstanding Westside baseball & softball performances (April 22-26)

Below are the outstanding performances from the Washington and Columbia County high school baseball and softball diamonds this past week.

Baseball

• Kruz Schoolcraft of Sunset went 2-for-3 with a home run, RBI and run-scored, while allowing one earned run and striking out 10 in a win over Jesuit

• Zach Jaeger of Tigard went 3-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI and two runs-scored, while allowing two earned runs on six hits in six innings, in a win over Lakeridge

• Joe Fagan of Scappoose allowed two hits and struck out eight in a complete game shutout against St. Helens

• Wyatt Hesselman of Banks allowed three hits while striking out 10 in a complete game shutout of Warrenton

• Reid Linkmeyer of Liberty 5-for-5 with a home run, double, six RBI and three runs-scored in a win over Forest Grove

• Kevin Carrieri of Forest Grove went 4-for-4 at the plate, while allowing one earned run on three hits and striking out seven in a win over Liberty

• Kevin Penna and Caeden Baughman of Westview combined to go 5-for-8 with two home runs, six RBI and two runs-scored in a win over Southridge

Softball

• Alyssa Loza of Century went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs-scored in a win over Liberty

• Madison White of Scappoose went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs-scored, along with pitching four shutout innings in a win over St. Helens

• Mary Cunningham of Jesuit went 3-for-3 with three doubles, an RBI and two runs-scored in a win over Mountainside

• Mabry Martin of Tualatin went 3-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI and three runs-scored in a win over Lake Oswego

• Sloane Swenson of Southridge allowed one earned run on two hits, while striking out 11 in a win over Mountainside
