The Pitt County Animal Services Pets of the Week are Freya, a large, adult female American bulldog mix, and Nico, a large, adult male brown and white tabby.

Humane Society

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina Pet of the Week is Sage, a young female Siberian Husky-Border collie mix.

Located at 3520 Tupper Drive, the Humane Society is open from 1-5 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. Visit hsecarolina.org or email HSECgeneral@gmail.com for an application.

Pitt Friends

Pitt Friends Pet of the Week is Earl, a male Walker hound mix puppy. He is part of a litter of 10, so his siblings also await adoption.

Animals are spayed or neutered and microchipped, and they have updated shots and are on heartworm and flea prevention medications.

Saving Graces 4 Felines

The Saving Graces 4 Felines Pick of the Litter is Solomon, a young male black cat. In celebration of SG4F’s 22nd birthday, the adoption fees of all cats over the age of 5 months has been reduced to $22.

SG4F cats are current on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, de-wormed as needed, treated for fleas, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered.
