RINGOES, NJ - One Voice of Hunterdon urges everyone in our county to take advantage of the many drop-off locations available on National DEA Take Back Day for the safe disposal of unused prescription drugs. Take Back Day will be held April 27th from 10 AM - 2 PM at select locations.

Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to accidental poisoning, overdose, and misuse. Pharmaceutical drugs can be just as dangerous as street drugs when taken without a prescription or doctor's supervision. Most teenagers who misuse prescription drugs get them from family and friends and home medicine cabinets.
