For many visitors at Disney World, the hotel is simply a place to sleep. There's so much to do at the theme parks that plenty of people prefer to spend their vacations packing in as much action as they can, arriving at opening and then closing the park down with one last ride. But that's not the way everyone does Disney, including me. I enjoy having plenty of downtime to hit the pool and grab a drink at the bar, sleep in late, and enjoy the atmosphere, no matter where in the Disney bubble I happen to be at the time.

Neither of these ways is right or wrong, just different. And if you belong to the first group and are ready to hit the ground running before the sun comes out, it makes more sense for you to book one of Disney's cheaper hotel. But if you're like me and enjoy a little hotel hanging, you're going to want one of the nicer spots — and the one in this video is just about as nice as it gets.

On Monday, April 22, @parkhoppingheather shared this tour of a VIP suite at Disney's Boardwalk Inn resort at Walt Disney World , and OMG — it's impressive. The deluxe resorts each have their own suites for guests who are big spenders (or who are traveling with very large groups and are willing to shell out for some extra space) and this one is gorgeous.

It's called the Sonora Vice Presidential Suite, and not only does it come equipped with just about every amenity you could imagine (right down to the bathroom scale) but it also has two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and more balconies than you could ever hope to need.

It was also recently refurbished so everything inside is brand new, and it comes with club service amenities, so you can check out the lounge and enjoy free food and drinks (including booze) during your stay.

More About the Sonora Suite

As you might have guessed, this suite certainly doesn't come cheap! According to one website that tracks rack rate prices, at the absolute lowest , this room is going to run you around $2,700 per night ... with rates more likely between $3,000-4,000 per night for most of the year.

That said, it does sleep six people, so maybe it might be worth it to split the splurge with a group of friends? Just an idea...

Either way, it's far more affordable to stay in a regular room at the Boardwalk to get the full experience, though still not cheap (around $600 per night).

If I ever win the lottery, you know where to find me!
