‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Reportedly Heading To Peacock For Season 5

Peacock may have just grown another feather in its tail. Deadline reports that Law & Order: Organized Crime , which first aired on NBC in April 2021 , is nearing a deal on a fifth season that would feature ten episodes, which would stream solely on Peacock.

NBC declined comment when reached by Decider.

Currently part of NBC’s Thursday night lineup, the series airs after Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , both of which were renewed for the 2024-2025 season on March 21.

All three One Chicago series — Chicago Med , Chicago Fire , and Chicago P.D. — were also renewed, marking five of executive producer Dick Wolf ‘s series on the network. In the March 21 press release sharing this announcement, the network noted that “the status of Law & Order: Organized Crime is still in discussion.”

As noted by Deadline, this trajectory would resemble that of Law & Order: Criminal Intent , which moved from NBC to the USA Network for four seasons following six on its original network. The series wrapped in 2011.

Starring Christopher Meloni ‘s Det. Elliot Stabler, who launched the iconic role on the franchise’s SVU , Organized Crime surrounds the Organized Crime Control Bureau “as they work to dismantle New York City’s most vicious and violent illegal enterprises,” per the show’s synopsis.

Other cast members include Danielle Moné Truitt , Ainsley Seiger, and Rick Gonzales . Season 4 of Organized Crime returns with a new episode next Thursday, May 2, titled “ Redcoat .”

All previous episodes of Law & Order: Organized Crime are streaming on Peacock. Next-day streaming for the remainder of Season 4 is available on Peacock, as well.
