The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said 4-year-old Jensen did something incredible, helping his grandmother after she fell and broke her ankle.

Jensen’s grandmother regularly babysat him at her home in Rule Shack, but a few weeks ago, it was Jensen who had to look after his grandmother. She fell in her home and broke her ankle, leaving her unable to get up to call for help.

Jensen found a cellphone and used FaceTime to call his mother to tell her that Grandma had fallen and needed help.

“What is so remarkable about this, is that a 4-year-old would have the knowledge and ability to take on this task on his own and accomplish it,” Sheriff Jon Hayden said on Facebook.

On Tuesday, the Hickman County and Graves County sheriff’s offices went to the home to visit Jensen and gave him a Life Saving Certificate, along with other gifts.

“He is a very brave and smart young man, and we are all proud of him,” Hayden said.
