BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana State Police have arrested a Bartholomew County man accused of molesting two juveniles.

Jayden K. Hardwick, 20, was arrested on Friday afternoon following an 8-month investigation into child molestation allegations.

According to ISP, in August 2023 two juvenile victims came forward with allegations against Hardwick. During an investigation, detectives said they found evidence that Hardwick had “improper contact” with two minors.

Once the investigation wrapped, ISP presented their findings to the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office. As a result, a warrant for Hardwick’s arrest was issued charging him with:

  • Child Molesting
    • Level 3 felony
    • 2 counts
  • Sexual Misconduct with a Minor
    • Level 5 felony
    • 1 count

Troopers arrested Hardwick on Friday on the felony charges. He was then booked into Bartholomew County Jail where he will await his initial hearing. Online court records have not yet been updated with trial information. No other information was provided by State Police.
