TEXOMA ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Early voting ahead of the Joint City and School Elections got underway on Monday, April 22, 2024, and will last until Tuesday, April 30, with Election Day taking place on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
Before Texomans head to their county’s polling locations to vote, the KFDX, KJTL and Texoma’s Homepage teams want to ensure voters are informed in all local elections before their ballots are cast.

What’s on the ballot on May 4 in Texoma?
Several Texoma communities will hold elections for city offices and several Texoma school districts will have bond proposals for local voters to consider on May 4, 2024:

The runoff election for the Democratic and Republican Primary Elections of March 2024 will not be on the ballot on May 4, 2024. Election Day for the runoff elections will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, with early voting for the runoff elections beginning Monday, May 20, 2024.
When and where to vote early in Texoma
Registered voters should note that polling locations will not be open on the weekend during early voting, Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, 2024.
