22-year-old man missing for almost a week, last seen at Chesterfield motel

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 22-year-old man has been missing for almost a week after a relative reportedly dropped him off at a Chesterfield County motel.

According to an April 23 press release from the Chesterfield County Police Department, Brenton Washington was last seen when a relative dropped him off at a motel in the 8200 block of Midlothian Turnpike on Wednesday, April 17.

He is believed to have left the motel between April 18 and 21. Since then, Washington’s family has not been able to get in touch with him, according to the release.

Washington does not have a permanent address. He is described as a Black man with black hair in short braids and brown eyes, as well as a goatee. According to the release, he is about 6′ tall and weighs about 153 lbs.

When he was last seen, he was reportedly wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans and tan slides.
