CHESTERTOWN POLICE

Apr. 9 Ofc Ryan Thompson took a report for a past trespassing in the 100 block of Camelot Drive.

Apr. 12 Ofc Ryan Thompson took a report for a past trespassing in the 200 block of Flatland Road.

Apr. 12 Following a traffic stop at Rt. 20 West and Flatland Road, Pfc Eric Nunez issued three Must Appear Traffic Citations to William David Reaver, age 34, of Chestertown. Reaver was charged with driving on suspended license and privilege; driving without a license; and driving while suspended. Court date was pending at the time of this report.

Apr. 12 Pfc Eric Nunez took a report for a malicious destruction of property in the 200 block of Cannon Street. Investigation was active at the time of this report.

Apr. 15 Pfc Meera Srinivasan responded to the area of 300 High Street for a report of a past disorderly conduct. Investigation was active at the time of this report.

Apr. 18 Pfc Brandon McGinnis responded to the 700 block of Washington Avenue for a report of a theft. Investigation was active at the time of this report.

KENT COUNTY SHERIFF

Apr. 6 DFC M. Piasecki served a Kent County Circuit Court Body Attachment for failure to appear on Dimere Quintel Rasin, age 35, of Millington. Rasin was held at the Kent County Detention Center on $500 bond.

Apr. 9 Cpl N. Blazejak investigated the assault of a juvenile that occurred in the 26000 block of Maple Avenue, Still Pond.

Apr. 11 DFC A. Freeman served a Kent County District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Marquis Dante Moals, age 29, of Millington. Moals was released by the District Court Commissioner on his own recognizance.

Apr. 11 Cpl. N. Blazejak served a Kent County Circuit Court Criminal Summons for violation of probation on Bruce Armont Green, age 45, of Chestertown. Green was released after being issued the summons.

Apr. 11 D/S B. Collins investigated a theft that occurred in the 21000 block of Sharp Street, Rock Hall. The victim reported that an unknown suspect stole parts from a vehicle. Under investigation at the time of this report.

Apr. 12 DFC D. Parent investigated a report of an assault that occurred in the 30000 block of Chesterville Bridge Road, Millington. The victim reported that a known suspect attempted to suffocate her. The suspect fled in a vehicle prior to the arrival of Deputies. Charges were pending at the time of this report.

Apr. 12 Lt S. Duhamell served a Kent County Circuit Court Bench Warrant for violation of probation on Montrail Cortez Montgomery, Jr., age 30, of Chestertown. Montgomery was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

Apr. 12 Following a traffic stop, DFC A. Freeman charged a juvenile female, age 16, of Chestertown with driving without a license. The juvenile was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services and released to an adult.

Apr. 12 DFC C. Rhodes investigated an assault that occurred in the 8300 block of Broadneck Road. The victim reported being assaulted by a known suspect. A juvenile, age 17, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services for second degree assault.

Apr. 14 DFC C. Rhodes investigated a malicious destruction of property that occurred on Cypress Street, Millington. The victim reported that an unknown suspect was observed throwing rocks at his vehicle. The rocks caused window and paint damage. Under investigation at the time of this report.

Apr. 14 DFC M. Piasecki and Sgt S. Maloney investigated an assault that occurred in the 25000 block of Lambs Meadow Road, Worton. The victim reported having a handgun pointed at her following an altercation. Joseph Christopher Cooper, age 25, of Worton was arrested. According to court records, Cooper was charged with assault first degree; assault second degree; reckless endangerment (two counts); and firearm use/felony-violent crime. Cooper initially was held without bond by the District Court Commissioner at the Kent County Detention Center. Following a Bond Hearing, Cooper was released on a $10,000 unsecured personal bond. At the time of this report a preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 13.

Apr. 14 DFC M. Piasecki investigated an assault that occurred in the 11000 block of Austin Court, Worton. The victim reported being assaulted by a known suspect. Under investigation at the time of this report.

Apr. 14 DFC D. Nolan served an Allegany County Circuit Court Body Attachment for failure to appear on Stephen Christian Barbour, age 38, of Chestertown. Barbour was released by the District Court Commissioner on his own recognizance.
