Chamber offering residents chance to submit questions for this week’s forums

The Polk County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a pair of Candidate Forums for the upcoming May 21 Local Primary Election, and local residents have the chance to hear from candidates about their concerns.

The Chamber is offering folks who want to participate in the Tuesday or Thursday evening forums to submit their own questions to candidates.

Please note that all questions will be vetted for appropriateness and not all questions will be asked due to time constraints.

The Chamber invites everyone to participate in the Candidate Forums. The first is being held on Tuesday evening, April 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center in Cedartown.

A second event will be held at the Rockmart Theatre on Thursday evening, April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Chamber picked the dates and times of The Forum without any input from the candidates, of note.
