BOONE COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — A man has been sentenced for bringing almost six pounds of meth into the county.

Jack Turley will spend a maximum of 10 years behind bars on charges of conspiracy and causing a controlled substance to be transported into the state.

Investigators say he worked with a co-defendant to bring the drug into the region back in 2022.

This is the same man who was investigated when he was a teacher at the Boone County Career and Technical Center. Trace amounts of meth were found in the building. Those charges were dropped in 2011, according to court officials.
