JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) announced that three people are now in custody after a kidnapped woman was found tied up on a riverbank near Corner Lake Landing in Jasper County on April 3.

Investigators say that after the victim was transported to the hospital, the investigation determined that the woman was kidnapped in Barnwell County which is about an hour and a half away from Jasper County. Deputies then obtained kidnapping warrants from the Barnwell County Sheriff’s Office for Adrienne Burgen Ginn, 31, Kaila Terria Bostick, 34, and Jamaal Terrell Riley, 30, on April 3, 2024.

South Carolina Highway Patrol arrested Ginn on April 6 in Hampton County after he was charged with a second offense of driving with a suspended license. On Monday, April 8, SLED was asked to lead the investigation by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office. Three days later, Bostick and Riley were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force in Indiana. Both Bostick and Riley will be extradited to South Carolina.

SLED says the investigation is active and ongoing.
