Mostly cloudy skies, light showers and cold temperatures in Connecticut

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit says to expect mostly cloudy skies, light showers, breezy conditions and cold temperatures throughout today.

NOW : It will be cooler during the day, with temperatures in the 40s for highs. Sprinkles here or there throughout the day, with a bit of a breeze that picks up will make it feel pretty raw. Friday brings showers late day heading into the evening. We rebound back into the mid to upper 50s.

NEXT : This weekend is trending drier especially for Saturday. Both days we'll see highs in the 60s making it a nice two days to look forward to. Pretty uneventful heading into next week with numbers close to seasonal while looking dry.

THURSDAY: Mainly cloudy, light showers, breezy and colder. High of 49.

FRIDAY : Mostly cloudy, rain showers later in the day. High of 57.

SATURDAY : Partly sunny. Showers end in the morning. Few showers possible late in the day. High of 63.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny. High of 60.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 64.
