Rain forecasted to return Wednesday afternoon in North Jersey

After two days of warm weather and clear skies, Northern New Jersey will once again be greeted by rain on Wednesday, according to National Weather Service.

The morning will be cloudy, but showers are expected to start after 2 p.m. with a 60% chance of precipitation in the afternoon. New precipitation amounts may only result in less than a tenth of an inch during the day.

Rain is almost certain in the evening with a 90% chance of precipitation at night. Showers are expected to bring rainfall between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.

Temperatures will reach a high of 62 degrees and a low of 47 degrees. Wind will be mild throughout the day ranging from five to eight miles per hour.
