‘No Wake Order’ issued on Honeoye Lake as water levels are higher than normal

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A “No Wake Order” was issued for Honeoye Lake due to high water levels.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office issued the order Tuesday morning, saying the water in the lake is significantly higher than normal.

Boaters are urged to take caution while operating on the lake and they are urged not to exceed 5 miles per hour until further notice.
