SCC to host 40 companies at job fair

In partnership with Goodwill Industries and NC Works, Surry Community College will be hosting a Career Job Fair featuring 40 companies on Tuesday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to noon in the SCC gymnatorium on the Dobson campus.

The job fair will provide students, alumni, and community members the opportunity to meet with potential employers. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in professional dress with their resumes. There will also be door prizes available for job-seekers.

The companies registered to attend are Prism Medical Products, LLC, Renfro Brands, Omega Construction Inc., Northern Regional Hospital, High Country Community Health, WorkForce Unlimited, Chatham Nursing and Rehab, Allura, Luck Stone, UNIFI, East Coast Migrant Head Start Project — Boonville Campus, MedQuest Associates, Mountain Valley Hospice, Goodwill Industries, Insteel Industries Inc., Home Instead Senior Care, Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, and Shenandoah Furniture;

Weyerhaeuser, Surry County EMS, Shelton Vineyards, Applied Polymerics, Yadkin County Schools, Novant Health, Stanley Heating and Air Conditioning Inc., College H.U.N.K.S. of Central Piedmont, Chick-fil-A Mount Airy, Amcor Rigid Packaging, NC Vocational Rehabilitation, Hugh Chatham Health / Local Community Hospital, Classic Packaging Company, City of Mount Airy, Pilot Mountain State Park, County of Yadkin, AES, Inc., Twelve Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care, Tampco Inc., New River Tire Recycling, Saber Healthcare Group, and Ottenweller.
