The 4th Annual Kindness From Case Sporting Clays Shoot was held on Saturday, April 6, at the Case Robinson Memorial Range. Approximately 200 people attended the event and nearly 100 shooters competed throughout the day.

“It was a big success,” Organizer Olivia Hays said. “The Case Robinson Memorial Range is looking forward to hosting more charity shoots for other organizations.”

When all was said and done, Bragg Bonner, Jake White, Ty McAdams, and Mike Stamper came out as the Champions. Toby Jones, Curtis Jones, Don Brown, Shawn Hartness grabbed second place. Third place honors went to Montie Montfort, Russ Montfort, Nathan Franks, and Jim Vaughn.

Navarro County 4-H members Jaxson Aten, Colt Steele, Jet Tacker, and Nick Aucamp won the youth division. Waylon Griffin, Casen Montfort, Matthew Grider, and Jackson Rash took second place. Coming in third place were Hagen Brubaker, Wyatt Moore, Cash Barkouskie, and Heston Brooke.

High Point Champions included Youth - Cooper Hayes, Women’s - Darian Shelton, and Men’s - Zane Robinson.

Cooper Hayes and Zane Robinson won the Make or Break competition later in the day as well.

A $50 prize board took place as well as a silent auction. Everyone enjoyed lunch consisting of fried fish, french fries, and hush puppies. The food was provided by Te’Jun and was cooked by Faith Fellowship Baptist Church.

The event funds scholarships for Freestone, Limestone, and Leon County seniors. The deadline to apply is May 1. Please e-mail kindnessfromcase@ gmail.com if you have not received a scholarship application.
