School bus crash in Morrison County leaves one child with minor injuries

A school bus went off the road and struck a drainage culvert in Morrison County on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in one child being evaluated for minor injuries, according to authorities.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened just before 4:30 p.m about ten miles southeast of Buckman on 355th Avenue near 61st Street.

According to the sheriff's office, a 22-year-old Waite Park man was driving the bus for the Foley School District.

"The bus was traveling south on 355th Avenue when it went off the roadway in the south ditch and struck a drainage culvert," the Sheriff's Office wrote.

A 10-year-old girl from Hillman was "transported by family to get checked out medically for minor injuries," the agency shared.

The incident remains under investigation.
