Weather Forecast: Tonight through Wednesday

Tonight: Across eastern Washington and Oregon, a warm front is moving through, bringing some cloud cover. In the Columbia Basin and Gorge areas, there are breezy west to southwest winds, while elsewhere winds are lighter. Low temps in the 30s and 40s.

Later Tonight:

There's a chance of snow or rain increasing in the Cascade east slopes, northern Blues, and Wallowa County as a cold front moves in. Snow levels will start high but drop later, possibly resulting in light snow accumulations in some higher areas. Eastern Columbia Basin and Blue Mountain foothills may see some light rain.

Tomorrow:

As the cold front passes, expect breezy to gusty winds developing in the Washington Cascade gaps and parts of the Basin. The I-90 corridor through the Kittitas valley may experience wind gusts between 45-55 mph, with a chance for gusts in the Columbia Basin and lower elevations. Temps in the mid to upper 60s.

Late Tomorrow through Wednesday:

An upper ridge will build in, bringing drier conditions with warmer temperatures. Afternoon temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 60s in lower elevations and upper 40s to 50s in the mountains. Winds will decrease as the ridge influences the region. Lows in the 40s.

Extended Forecast: Thursday through Friday

Thursday and Friday: High pressure over the Rockies and a low-pressure system off the California coast will lead to a shift in wind flow, setting up a potential for Spring-like convective patterns. There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the eastern mountains, increasing through Friday.
