Graham County commissioner charged in two cases

GRAHAM COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — Graham County Commissioner Jarrod Knoll , who is also a member of the Morland City Council and the Graham County USD 281 School Board, has been charged in two cases.

The Graham County Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday that Knoll is charged with unlawful distribution of cannabinoids and with bribery.

The county attorney said the Graham County Sheriff’s Office investigated the cases. Then, the county attorney asked an outside prosecutor to determine if charges should be filed.

“In the interest of transparency, a special prosecutor from the Ellis County Attorney’s Office filed two cases in the District Court of Graham County, Kansas, against Jarrod John Knoll,” the Graham County Attorney’s Office said.

The court document that lists three separate cannabinoid charges says the counts are associated with Knoll’s business, 2 Lane Liquor. The document alleges the cannabinoids were in over 120 dosage units of Delta 8 and in THC-O Zookies Vape Cartridges.

The other court document that charges Knoll with bribery claims that he offered to pay $4,000 annually to the “Graham County Travel and Tourism County in exchange for them failing to enact and enforce the implementation of a Transient Guest Tax.”

KSN News has attempted to reach Knoll to get his response to the charges. We have not heard back.
