Baseball season is kicking into full gear, and the mountain has already witnessed some stellar performances in the first few games. As the season continues to progress, here are the players to watch in Monroe County.

Liam Huffman, East Stroudsburg South, 3B/SS/P, Jr.

2023 statistics: .396 BA, 3.27 ERA

Misail (Misa) Papadopoulos, Notre Dame East Stroudsburg, SS/P, Sr.

"As a four-year starter, Misa is a really solid player. The team goes, as he goes . He leads by example." - Head coach Kevin Hezel

Will Ferguson, Notre Dame East Stroudsburg, 1B/P, So.

"He's already a five-tool player who hit two home runs as a freshman. He's set to impress." - Hezel

RJ Andino, Notre Dame East Stroudsburg, C/1B, So.

"He'll be asked to fill our catcher's role this season, and he's thrived so far. But hitting is his true strength." - Hezel
