Stafford County deputies arrest woman wanted out of Pennsylvania

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said deputies arrested a woman wanted out of Pennsylvania for a felony weapons violation.

On March 23 at around 1:47 a.m., SCSO said deputies received information about 43-year-old Anya Dibiase was spotted at a McDonald’s, located at 900 Wonder Road. She was wanted out of Pennsylvania and it was possible that she was armed and dangerous.

As deputies arrived at the McDonald’s, they saw her leaving in a Dodge Charger. Deputies quickly boxed her car in at the intersection of Miracle Drive and Courthouse Road.

Dibiase refused to turn off her car and get out, creating a barricade situation, according to SCSO.

Deputies set up spike strips and deployed an armored car before using pepper ball shots around Dibiase’s car. She ended up getting out of her cars and deputies arrested her.

Dibiase was charged with obstruction of justice on top of her outstanding warrant out of Pennsylvania.

She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
