In it, Craig sat next to their daughter, Sybil, six, as she held up a sign.
The sign read: "How did the telephone propose to the lady?"
Sybil smiled for the camera and Craig held onto a plastic phone and put a hand on his daughter's head.
The next photo had Craig, Sybil, Lindsay, 45, and their son, Delano, nine, in it, sitting on the couch.
Craig picked up the phone and put it up to his ear.
Sybil flipped the sign around and it read: "It gave her a ring!"
Lindsay captioned the post: "Always appreciate the help with these. Anyone have some good joke material send them my way! #JOTD #jokes #love #ring."
POOR CRAIG!
Perhaps Craig returned too soon because on Tuesday, he admitted that his brain was mush.
He was mocked by his co-hosts Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer.
Craig, Al, 69, and Dylan Dreyer, 42, sat down with the editor-in-chief of Travel & Leisure magazine, Jacqui Gifford, to talk about places to visit in the fall.
Craig gave the introduction and messed up a few words along the way.
"Well, it's officially Harvest Season, which makes it the perfect time to plan a little getaway and maybe see some fall foilage," he said.
"Foilage?" Dylan and Al both asked at the same time.
"It's foliage," Al corrected.
"Foliage," Craig said, as he shook his head.
"Unless you're related to Reynolds aluminum," Al laughed.
Craig defended: "Foliage. Guys, I had Covid for five days. My brain's not working right."
He went on with the introduction as Al and Dylan continued to laugh.
Craig asked his co-hosts a few more times if he pronounced words correctly throughout the segment, in which they confirmed that he did.
He then mocked himself and put a big emphasis on the word "inspiration."
