Rhoda's parents, Paul and Lola Weiner, bought The Bagel in 1967. The first store was on 14th Ave. at Krameria. The store on Hampden was opened in 1971 and the two ran concurrently for over 30 years. We closed 14th about 8 years ago. We've proudly served Denver over 40 years. Many of our employees have worked well over 20 years and several have worked since the early 1970's. Ask Shirley about her days as a cashier, or Bill as a dishwasher...just a couple of our mainstays at the deli.
