Lehigh Returns to Stabler Arena for a Battle with Boston U. on CBS Sports Network

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's basketball team returns home to Stabler Arena to take on Boston University in a Patriot League matchup as the Mountain Hawks look to extend their win streak to eight games. Tip-off is set for 12 p.m. and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

Lehigh (12-8, 7-2 PL) enters the game on a seven-game winning streak after earning the series sweep of Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. on Wednesday night, defeating the Crusaders 74-68. Senior Evan Taylor led a trio of Mountain Hawks that reached double-digits, scoring 17 points with 12 coming in the first half, to go with a team-high six rebounds and one assist. This is Taylor's 13th consecutive game scoring at least 10 points and he has done so in 18 of 20 games this season. Sophomore Keith Higgins Jr. ended the night with 16 points, including a couple of clutch three-pointers down the final stretch of the second half. He also contributed three boards, two steals and an assist in his fourth straight game reaching double-digits. Sophomore Tyler Whitney-Sidney tossed in 14 points and shot 46.2 percent (6-for-13) from the field to go along with three rebounds.

Graduate student Walter Whyte led BU with 11 points to move up to No. 9 in the program record book at 1,533 points. Classmate Fletcher Tynen was the other Terrier in double figures at 10 points with six rebounds. BU and Lehigh have only one non-league opponent in common, Marist, which both squads came away victorious. Other big opponents that the Terriers have gone up against include UConn (L 86-57) and Notre Dame (L 81-75).
