PHOENIX — This week, KTAR News debuted its newest podcast dedicated to the happenings across the Grand Canyon State.

Arizona’s News Roundup will lasso up the most important stories of the week and break them down so you don’t miss a thing.

Taylor Kinnerup, the station’s breaking news editor, will host the weekly podcast. It will be a 5-to-15-minute summary of what’s happened this week in Arizona news, provide the context of how we got here and look ahead at what’s to come.

For its debut week, the podcast breaks down what has happened in Cochise County during the midterm election, President Joe Biden’s upcoming trip to Arizona and the latest on the possible entertainment district that could be coming to Tempe.

These stories all contain insight from local experts and snippets from exclusive interviews you’ll only hear on KTAR News.

The podcast will also typically end with stories that you should keep an eye on in the week to come.

This week, some stories to look ahead towards include a possible U.S. rail strike and when the U.S. Men’s National Soccer team will play next in the World Cup.

We want to hear from you.
