The offenses came back to life in crunch time in the final quarter and it was Ayuso who came up clutch for PBA. She scored nine of her game-high 16 points as she finished the game 6-for-10 from the field and pulled down eight rebounds. A quick 5-0 run early from the Pride brought PBA's lead down to four points but the Sailfish were able to answer and hold them off with a 22-point quarter to earn the victory.
It was a balanced attack from the Sailfish as Ayuso (16), Midget (13), and Boulin (10) all finished in double-figures for the Sailfish to lead them offensively. Danielsson added nine while Whitley scored seven as PBA shot 40 percent from the field and were 4-of-12 from three.
