Motorcyclist dead after fatal crash in Glenburn
A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a car with several passengers left one dead on Tuesday night. Penobscot officials said Andrew Adams, 61, of Glenburn, was transported to Northern Light Medical Center in Bangor after traveling north on Rt. 15 when a car traveling south turned in front of Adams. Adams was later pronounced dead due to his sustained injuries. The driver of the car, 40-year-old Jonathan Hendre of Hudson, pulled into the Village Variety store when she hit Adams. Hudson did not sustain any injuries. Passengers, Sarah Saltzman, 40, and her 6-year-old daughter were not injured.Officials are still investigating the crash and are asking anyone who may have information, to please contact the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 947-4585.
