Black Mother Chases Away White Neighbor After He Shows Up to Her Door Cracking a Whip; His Father Is Arrested

A Black mother was forced to chase away her neighbor after he showed up at her door, looking for her young daughter, armed with a whip.

The moment was captured on a doorbell camera.

In the video, a young boy, who is white, walks up to a family's home in Forney. He then cracks his whip against their front door.

Speaking to WFAA, the girl's mother, Carissa Nash, detailed the incident and what caused the brazen young man, who is 9, to approach the family/

Nash opens her door and tells the boy to leave after he strikes the door a second time.

"Little boy, you better get your a--- up off my porch, beating on my door like this," Nash can be heard saying in the video. "I will call the police. You need to leave. Don't you ever beat on my goddamn door like this. Go."

Dezerrea Nash, her husband, then went to the boy's father's home to address the incident.

"I'm coming to have a conversation with you, sir. Your son. I'm going to show you the video," he is heard yelling.

Dezerrea Nash also told the man that there was a "huge scratch on our car," but the man accused the parents of "accusing" his son. Moments later, the sound of a firearm could be heard going off from near the man at the door.

Jason Johnson, a Kaufman County Precinct 2 constable, told the news outlet that the man in question was Bryan Brunson. Brunson told officers that he was holding a gun in his right hand and that the gun went off---in the direction of his daughter, who was standing behind him.

Brunson was arrested on a charge of deadly conduct.
