Have You Seen Them? Child Protective Services Desperate To Find Missing Toddler Abducted By Abusive Parents

According to Fox 8 News, in April 2014, 1-year old Andre Thompson, Jr. was reported missing from Durham, North Carolina.

The toddler was located one day later at 11:00 pm and placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.

His parents, 24-year old Dreama Alexandria Ferguson and 37-year old Andre Amon Thompson Sr. were arrested at 306 Sprague Avenue in Durham, North Carolina when they refused to allow officers to enter.

The arrest took place at 1:20 am, and the pair were charged with simple assault, neglect, and child abuse.

The charges were later changed to neglect.

The bond a judge set for Andre Thompson Sr. was reduced from $20,000 to $1,000.

A judge then released Andre, Jr. back to the care of his mother, Dreama.

In August 2014, Andre, Jr. disappeared again, ABC 11 reports.

Durham Social Services was appointed custody of Andre, Jr. by a court judge.

Before Durham Social Services could physically take the little boy, his parents, Dreama and Andre, took him and left.

Andre, Jr. has never been seen again.

Authorities are concerned for Andre's health as there were concerns for his medical care and nutritional state.

According to ABC 11, an officer wrote a summary stating that Andre's parents failed "to comply with the child's medical treatment team referral for nutritional assistance which is crucial for the wellbeing and health of the child in light of the child's current medical state."

Both Andre Thompson, Sr., and Dreama Ferguson have warrants for their arrests.

They are charged with felony abduction and child abuse.
