Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: Notched flagship tablet leaks on Geekbench with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and 8 GB of RAM
Last week, the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus leaked on Geekbench, one of three tablets expected to launch under the Tab S8 series. Now, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has been benchmarked using the same software, albeit only once so far.
The device appears as the SM-X906N, rather than as its retail name. However, @UniverseIce announced in September that Samsung would sell the SM-X906 as the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, with the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus known as the SM-X808U. Incidentally, renders of both tablets have already leaked, courtesy of @OnLeaks.
According to Geekbench, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8 Plus share an SoC, 'taro'. Reputedly, 'taro' is Qualcomm's codename for the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, the now rumoured name of the Snapdragon 898. The Geekbench listing also shows the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with 8 GB of RAM, matching the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is also tipped to arrive with a 14.6-inch AMOLED display operating at 120 Hz. The tablet should be available with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, when it launches in early 2022.
