Winner’s slightly grown-up sibling, Runner Up is a wine bar with a solid menu of mostly snacky items. It’s a welcome addition to a neighborhood where many sit-down restaurants serve dishes that feel like they were designed for new parents who suddenly have too much to think about to want interesting food. You can make an entire meal out of things like fancy deli meat and garlic & cheddar monkey bread, which is basically Domino’s cheesy bread, but for adults. (It even comes with a cup of marinara.)
