The week is quickly moving along, as the Atlanta Falcons prepare to travel south and face the Miami Dolphins. We got our first look at both team’s injury reports on Wednesday, which had only three listed for the Falcons, while the Dolphins had thirteen players listed. It’s worth noting that Miami only held a walk-through on Wednesday, so their injury report was estimated.

You can expect to see the injury reports here every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, except for when the Falcons play on Thursday night.

When you compare Wednesday’s injury report to Thursday’s, there was only one minor change. Jaylinn Hawkins who has been out with a non-COVID-19 related illness was a full participant on Thursday, so his availability for Sunday’s game seems clear. Avery Williams continues to be limited in practice with a hamstring injury. If he’s unable to go, it’ll likely be Olamide Zaccheaus returning punts for the Falcons on Sunday. Additionally, Dante Fowler Jr. missed his second straight practice of the week due to a knee injury. We will definitely monitor that situation heading into Friday’s crucial practice.

Although the Dolphins only had an estimated injury report on Wednesday due to a walk-through practice, it remains the same on Thursday. No changes were made, as notable players Xavien Howard, Byron Jones and DeVante Parker all logged back-to-back limited practices. Unless something changes for them on Friday, I’d expect all three to play this weekend against the Falcons.

We’ll get a much clearer outlook on this weekend’s availability following Friday’s practice.
