NCAA Football: Northern Illinois at Michigan Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Michigan moved up to No. 6 in both the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll on Sunday, and now further projections are in via ESPN’s updated Football Power Index.

6-0 Michigan remains at No. 5 in the nation in ESPN’s FPI, and are projected to win around 10 games. ESPN gives the Wolverines a 27.7% chance of winning the Big Ten East and a 37.6% chance of making the College Football Playoff.

The only Big Ten team ranked above Michigan in the FPI is Ohio State at No. 3, who had a bye on Saturday just as Michigan did. The only game Michigan isn’t favored to win in the latest projections is The Game versus the Buckeyes. Other Michigan opponents ranked in the top 25 of ESPN’s FPI include No. 11 Penn State and No. 14 Michigan State.

For reference, here were the FPI percentages from last week.

Here are the updated chances of victory for each opponent this season.

Oct. 23- vs. Northwestern: 95.1% chance of winning

Oct. 30- at Michigan State: 53.7% chance of winning

Nov. 6- vs. Indiana: 89% chance of winning

Nov. 13- at Penn State: 50.5% chance of winning

Nov. 20- at Maryland: 87.8% chance of winning

Nov. 27- vs. Ohio State: 41.8% chance of winning
