Newcastle 2-3 Tottenham: Community Player Ratings

It was certainly an emotional match.

Well, that was a weird match. Tottenham Hotspur traveled to Geordie Arabia for Toon’s first match since their Saudi takeover, and it was anything but boring. Callum Wilson scored for the hosts inside two minutes, but Spurs roared back to score three in the first 45 minutes, the match was halted just before halftime due to a medical emergency in the stands, substitute Jonjoe Shelvey got sent off for two yellow cards in 15 minutes, Eric Dier scored a late own goal to give Newcastle hope, and Nuno Espirito Santo didn’t make a single substitution.

It was really friggin’ strange. But it was also a win, and three points are three points.

Time to rate the players!

Rate the players from 1⁄2 to 5 stars. If the player doesn’t deserve a rating due to minutes played, DO NOT RANK. I will round the stars up/down to the nearest half-star for the player ratings later this week.
