A Sunday rundown.

The League Championship series are well underway, and the ALCS took a sudden turn. The Red Sox shockingly ripped two grand slams, taking a commanding lead against the Astros in Game 2, evening the ALCS at one. There’s no good outcome for a Yankees fan in that series, but seeing the Red Sox roll is never much fun.

On the site today, Matt takes us back to a time in Yankees history when a unheralded pitcher saved the Yankees in the World Series, Joe spins through the last week in Yankees social media, and Andres discusses how Matt Blake and the Yankees can work to “fix” Deivi García in 2022.

Fun Questions:

1. Will Gleyber Torres be the Yankees’ starting second baseman in 2021?

2. Do you enjoy playoff series rematches, such as the Dodgers and Braves facing off in consecutive NLCS matchups, or would you prefer new blood every year?
