Here we go again. It’s not the first time and surely won’t be the last, but yet another extremely bad take on Tim Duncan has one Twitter user feeling the wrath of Spurs fans. It’s hard to know why Duncan garners so much “hate” for no apparent reason, but a few days ago @rebornbyksg (or RJ) decided to start a thread arguing that Tim Duncan is “overrated” with possibly the worst approach imaginable, and results were predictable.
Many of RJ’s points included cherry-picked stats that seemed like a desperate attempt to fuel his opinion. For example, he mentioned that Manu Ginobili deserved to win the 2005 Finals MVP over Duncan since the Argentine averaged two more points in the fourth quarter of those games.
