Week 4 is in the books, as we turn our sights to Week 5 and a trip to London. Unfortunately in the most recent defeat, the 1-3 Atlanta Falcons have sustained some injuries which has caused moves to be made on the roster. On Tuesday, the Falcons placed both punter Cameron Nizialek and corner Isaiah Oliver on injured reserve. Nizialek’s status for the rest of the season is to be determined, while Oliver is reportedly done in 2021.

After weeks of the depth chart largely staying the same, we have an actual update this week.

As you can see from above, there definitely were some minor changes this week. With Oliver now done for the season, rookie corner Avery Williams slides into his spot. Williams has been terrific on special teams for the Falcons, and now looks to make an impact on defense. It’s unfortunate to see Nizialek also placed on injured reserve, as he bounced back from a poor game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. The punting and place holding jobs will be filled by Dustin Colquitt, who brings a lot of experience to the Falcons.

Additionally, defensive lineman Mike Pennel, who was signed to the roster from the practice squad on Tuesday, has been placed ahead of John Cominsky on the depth chart. Outside of those moves, the roster remains the same.
