David Moyes says West Ham cannot hide behind their busier schedule after yesterday's defeat by Brentford dented their top-four charge, with the Hammers manager insisting his players should be glad to be preoccupied with European football.
Moyes' side beat Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday but on this return to the London Stadium, they struggled to trouble the Bees.
Moyes didn't make a single substitution with some supporters complaining that the team looked leggy towards the end of the match.
'The answer is no,' a disappointed Moyes said when asked whether the schedule was posing them problems, ‘because I hope we're getting used to it and will have European football again next season.
